That came out of nowhere...

Life never happens the way we think it will...ever!  I feel like every time we might have our lives all planned out something crazy happens and we end up going the opposite direction.  Everything was going great with Landon's job, we had good friends and actually liked living in Utah and being so close to family, and we were just weeks from moving into our brand new house that took 9 MONTHS to build and then BAM!!!  Landon was offered a new job with a new company and for some crazy reason we both felt like it was the right thing.  So, we left the life we thought we were going to have and packed everything up and moved to Phoenix!
It was a very bumpy road the two years we were living in Utah trying to find a home.  We looked at homes and made several offers and nothing seemed to work out.  So finally we decided we would build...holy nightmare!  As much as I was attached to that house I am glad we finally realized it was not worth it!  Looking back now I feel like maybe the reason we had so much trouble trying to buy a home in Utah was because we were not supposed to be there.  Things have just seemed to work out perfectly for us in Arizona so far so hopefully this is where we are supposed to be.  After such a long hard search for a home in Utah it took Landon and I only one weekend to find a home here and so far we love it!  Things are going great with Landon's new job and he is excited about all the many opportunities ahead!  We love the warm "winter" weather and love the pool.  We have met a few new friends and are excited to find more!
 The boys loved the truck!

Getting ready to take off on our new adventure!

It started to snow as we were leaving...it made leaving a little easier!

Kai was so excited about our 12 hour journey and the fact that he had to ride in the car while Julien rode in the truck.
We stayed over in Vegas on our way down.  The boys loved the Bellagio and the street performers.

Arizona!
We made it!  The truck was crammed full!
Home sweet home!
Time for the insanity to begin...
Before and after pics coming soon!

Cornbelly's

Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving point is awesome!  There is so much for the boys to do there.  We were busy trying to pack up and get ready to move but spent one last day with our friends playing at Cornbelly's.
 Duck races
 Corn pit

Lagoon

One of the many little perks of working at Nuskin was the yearly trip to Lagoon!  We have so much fun there and LOVE that we don't have to wait in line for the rides.  It was always such a fun night!...we will definitely miss it!

Julien was such a good big brother to Kai.  He would hold his hand in line and then help him get buckled into every ride.  It was so cute!

We were there pretty late so Kai got pretty tired.  He crashed in the stroller but Julien was running around riding rides until the last minute!

Landon's stomach cant handle a lot of the rides so I usually miss out on a lot of the rides that I like but this year Julien was big enough to ride them with me!
He loves the rides just as much as me!  We had so much fun together!

I love my boys!

I love being a stay at home mom...there are times when the boys drive me CRAZY!  But really I would not have it any other way!  They definitely keep me entertained...and busy!
He wanted a blanket wrapped around his ears so that the popper wasn't so loud...pretty funny!
Guess I need to keep my makeup in a higher drawer
Watch out Lady Gaga... you've got some competition!

SLC Zoo with Grandma Allie and Papa

People who know me, know that I am not a big fan of the zoo.  It is usually hot and crowded and most of the time the cages are either empty or filled with sleeping animals hiding out at the back of the cage that you cant see.  So...I had never taken to the boys to the Salt Lake Zoo so  grandma and papa decided they would take them.  Of course the boys loved it!

 Laughing at the monkeys.
Watching the baby elephant get a drink with his trunk!

My dad also took the boys to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point.

What good grandparents they have!
