Brand new car seat...$130.00 Brand new stroller...$120.00 Our friends stroller...$300.00 All our snorkel gear and boogie board...$150.00 Our one and only car...$3,000.00 Living in Hawaii...priceless HAHAHA Not so much!!!
Yesterday we added another chapter to our book, Our Crazy Hawaiian Adventures. Landon had planned to take me on a whale watching cruise for my birthday and I was so excited! We got up early and headed downstairs only to find an empty parking spot. Ya thats right someone stole my freakin car on my BIRTHDAY!!! We called 911 and had to hold for 10mins...glad I wasn't dieing. We filed a report and the little bit of hope that they gave us that sometimes people will steal a car to commit another crime and then just leave the car somewhere...so I guess thats what we are hoping for. We called our insurance and found that we only have liability so if our car is not found then we are pretty much just out of luck...Awesome!
So the day started off awful but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes, especially to Landon, Nancy, Paul, Mom and Dad and Mark and Diane for brightening my day!!! I had a great birthday, minus the whole stolen car thing.

I had a gift card to MAC so Nancy took me to the mall and played with Julien while I got my makeup done.

Fun at the Beach

Monday we went to waimanalo to relax and play on the beach. We went with Paul, Nancy and Abi and some of Paul and Landon's friends from Canada. It's always a good day at the beach!

Best Buds! They were even trying to feed each other the gold fish!

It's a Miracle...Julien has finally learned to feed himself!

So Julien has had some stomach issues lately so we got him some gatorade to make sure that he doesnt get dehydrated and I think he liked it. Haha!!! I gave it to him and he laid down on the floor and chugged the whole thing.

I think he got a little too much sugar

North Shore

This past weekend we went up to the North Shore to watch the surfers. The waves were 15-25 feet high! Crazy!!!

Makapu'u Lighthouse

Our first morning back in Hawaii none of us could sleep so we decided to hike up to Makapu'u Lighthouse and watch for whales. We got there just as the sun was coming up, it was so pretty. It was fun to watch the whales jump, I had never seen a whale before so I was really excited.

Happy Birthday to me!

So it's not my birthday yet...but it is my birthday month so why not celebrate! My family spoiled me a little early this year since I am not going to be with them on my actual birthday. First, my mom took the day off from work and took my shopping! Then my grandma took everyone to China Isle for lunch...we had been craving normal Chinese food since we moved to Hawaii (the Chinese food here is well...a little "different"). Then for dinner my parents took us to OLIVE GARDEN! I Love me some Olive garden! It was such a wonderful day! Thanks mom and dad for making my birthday special! I love you!

So I am 25, my mom is 50 and Nanny is 75...pretty cool!

A day with the GIRLS!

Laura and Diane took all the girls to get our nails done for Christmas...it was so nice! I don't think I have gotten my nails done since my wedding day!

Pedicures!

Admiring our nails!

P.S. If you have ever got your nails done you need to watch this video on Utube...it is hilarious... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsWrY77o77o

Temple Square

Going to temple square is one of my favorite things to do at Christmas Time! It is so much fun and SO beautiful!

Feliz Navidad!

This year Nanny took the ENTIRE family to Mexico for Christmas and it was AMAZING! It was so beautiful and so relaxing. The trip could not have been any better. We loved spending time with family and really enjoyed everyone's help with Julien.

After Mexico we were able to spend 2 weeks with our families in Utah. Landon's family came down and we were able to have a second Christmas with them. I never thought that I would be so sad to leave Utah to go to Hawaii, especially in the winter but it was just so nice to have a break and be surrounded by so much family. We have really realized that importance of family and hope that when Landon finishes school that we will be able to live near family...We love you and miss you all!
