So Much Fun in the Sun!

The Garner's have been here for the past 2 weeks and we have had so much fun! Landon has been on spring break this past week and we have loved being able to spend so much time together as family. We have spent almost everyday at the beach and just played in the sun...tomorrow is going to be pretty depressing after they all leave and Landon goes back to school.

Julien had an adventurous day yesterday. First, we went to the mall and of course Julien has just learned how to walk so he doesn't want to ride in his stroller he wants to walk. So I let him walk around...big mistake. He found a display and successfully knocked down all three manicans and a large potted tree. I looked over just in time to see him push down the first manican which then knocked over the 2nd then 3rd manican and then for the finale the huge tree. He just looked at me like "look what i did mom!" I then laughed so hard I cried. I was so grateful that I was not there alone. Then later in the day we went over to Paul and Nancy's for a BBQ and Julien and Abi we crawling around playing together and Julien thought it would be cool to stick his head inbetween two bars on a little stool. Needless to say his head got stuck! I don't understand how they seem to slide in so easily but then somehow get stuck when you try to pull their head out. Once again I just started laughing and wished that I would have had my camera so you could laugh too!

Julien's First Haircut!

I have been putting it off for months but I finally gave in and decided that Julien needed a haircut. I had been really hesitant to cut his hair because I didn't want my little baby to look like an old man but I am actually very happy with the outcome and think he looks very handsome. We waited until Breanne was here so she could be the first to cut his hair and she did a wonderful job...Julien was not too happy about the whole thing and would NOT sit still! Fun at the beach with G&G Garner

Landon's parents got here last Tuesday and we have had a blast so far! We love it when we get visitors especially family! We have spent most of our days so far at the beach. Here are some of the pictures we have taken while enjoying the sunshine!

I forgot to post an update after we went to the doctor for Julien's 12 month check up so here it is a little late. Julien is 31 inches tall and weighs 22.3 pounds. They said that he is in the 80% for height and 40% for weight. He has 6 teeth that are all the way in right now and 4 more that we can see that haven't broken through yet. He is walking every where now and is VERY busy he definitely keeps me running.

This is Julien's fort...we cover the door with a towel and he will just sit in there and play.

Poor little guy has been pretty sick the past week. He got so tired he crawled up on my lap and just crashed. I felt bad that he was so sick but loved all the snuggles!
