Date Night with Mom and Dad

On the way to swim lessons Julien saw the carnival in Pleasant Grove being set up and begged me to take him when it opened. So a few days later we were bathing the kids and getting them ready to go to bed and decided that we should take Julien out for a special night with just Mom and Dad. Julien was so excited! He loved the carnival and thought it was pretty cool that he got to stay out late while Kai stayed home in bed.

It was a fun night!

Swimming Lessons

Julien started swim lessons for the first time this year and LOVED every minute of it! I was a little scared that he would be too shy to get in the water without me but I was SO wrong! The first day he jumped right in. I am not sure how much he actually learned but he had fun splashing around...and running from his teacher!

St George

My parents rented a condo in St George for Memorial Day and it was so much fun! It was so nice to just hangout with family, lay by the pool and play for a whole week!

I am so grateful that Landon has such a great job so that I am able to stay home with the boys all day! There are definitely times when I wish I had a job so that I could escape the screaming and fighting and temper tantrums but then I would miss Julien's stories or Kai's first steps or both of their sweet smiles and snuggles and I realize that I wouldn't trade it for anything! After people hear that I stay home all day with the boys I often get the question, "so what do you do all day?" So here are a few pictures of me and the boys doing what we do everyday!

Jump On It! Grandma stayed home and watched baby Kai so that Julien and I could have some fun together...just me and him! It was a lot of fun!

I was getting ready and was thinking to myself... ahh the boys are being so good and playing so happily together...then I came out of the bathroom and saw what they were doing. Julien had completely covered Kai and himself with his Elmo stamp. They were both totally red!
