Home Sweet Home

After 6 flights, 1 wedding, a funeral and 3 weeks of living out of a suitcase I am finally home. It was hard...especially traveling with a very busy little boy all by myself but I am so glad that I was able to go. After a quick stop in LA we flew to Salt Lake to meet up with my family to drive to Grace Idaho for my grandmas funeral. I am so glad that I was able to change my flight to be able to be there. I loved my grandma so much...she was an amazing grandma and a wonderful example to me, I will miss her so much but I am so glad that she is not suffering anymore and is with my grandpa again.

After Idaho I was able to go back to Utah for a few days to spend some time with my mom and dad...and so my dad could spend some time with Julien. After Utah we flew back to LA to sleep before getting back on a plane the next day for Canada. It was a little chilly in Canada but we had so much fun with family. I was so glad that I was able to make it to Julie's wedding, she was such a beautiful bride. We had such a good time...I am really lucky to have such wonderful in-laws!

After a week in Canada we flew back to LA one more time to spend a week with Amy and Kyle and mom and Jared. We spent the week playing and relaxing at the beach. Megan my best friend from high school came up for the day with her cute family so we could spend some time together, it had been over 2 years since we had seen each other!!! It was a busy trip and I am not sure that Julien remembers what home is anymore but it was so worth it, I have such a wonderful family and had so much fun with all of you...we miss you already!!!

Easter Weekend

This was our first Easter that we have spent with just our little family. We really miss family but we had a good weekend just hanging out together. On Saturday we took Julien to the mall to see the Easter Bunny...it was a little expensive and the line was Really long so we settled for the real bunnies in the pet store...Julien liked them better anyway.

He didn't want to leave the store
The mall has a really cool play area for the kids...Julien was a little unsure of it at first and just stood on the side watching the kids but eventually with dad's help he got a little more brave and after a few minutes was running around laughing and screaming, it was pretty cute!

Stopping to wave to mama

Julien and Abi riding the Zebra together...they are so cute!

Easter Morning!!!
Julien loved his Easter basket!

My sad attempt to make Easter Jello molds...sorry Diane I tried!
Paul and Nancy came over for a little egg dyeing competition
Julien's first Easter Egg!

OK so here is one egg entry from all of us...Dana, Landon, Julien, Paul and Nancy(the eggs are not in order so there is no cheating or hurt feelings) We decided to have a little competition to get the boys to actually color an egg so please let us know which one you like the best. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter...we sure did! I just love Easter...what a wonderful Holiday to remember our Savior. If you have not already seen the Easter clip from Elder Holland you should watch it

Zebra

Julien is learning how to ride his Zebra all by himself! He is so proud of himself...it's pretty cute! He was a little distracted by the camera so he wasn't really rockin out but you get the idea.

PCC

While Landon's family was here we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was my first time there and it was a lot of fun! There is so much to do and see.

Landon was chosen to go up on stage and dance...lucky guy!
Crazy monkey man that climbed the tree in 2 seconds
Landon trying to start a fire

Waiting for the food at the LuauJulien thought the Pina Colada was so cool
So of course we gave in and gave him some
Big Boy!
So cute!
