O Canada

Landon doesn't have very much time off because of his new job but he was able to take a few days off this summer so we could go up to Canada and spend time with his family! It was such a nice break and we had so much fun just hanging out with the fam!

Julien and Ruby playing in the pool

Before we went to Canada we asked Julien what he wanted to do there...the only thing he wanted to do was ride horses...done!
He loved it! He wanted to wear cowboy clothes to ride the horse haha he is so funny!

Canada Day! Yummy pancake breakfast!
Julien got to pretend he was a fireman!

We always have so much fun in Canada and I love that Landon is from such a small town...It reminds me of going to visit my grandparents when I was little! I am so glad my kids can enjoy it too!

Stitches

We went over to my grandma's house for dinner Sunday night and after 5 minutes of being there had to rush Julien to the ER to get stitches in his chin. He was trying to do "crazy tricks" while jumping off huge rocks in her backyard and smacked his chin when he tried to jump off backwards!
Poor baby!

He was screaming while they were doing his stitches so they tried to distract him by asking if he wanted a sticker...he stropped crying and said "No, I want a Popsicle!" Haha! They called and ordered him a Popsicle and suddenly everything was all better!

Date Night with Mom and Dad

On the way to swim lessons Julien saw the carnival in Pleasant Grove being set up and begged me to take him when it opened. So a few days later we were bathing the kids and getting them ready to go to bed and decided that we should take Julien out for a special night with just Mom and Dad. Julien was so excited! He loved the carnival and thought it was pretty cool that he got to stay out late while Kai stayed home in bed.

It was a fun night!

Swimming Lessons

Julien started swim lessons for the first time this year and LOVED every minute of it! I was a little scared that he would be too shy to get in the water without me but I was SO wrong! The first day he jumped right in. I am not sure how much he actually learned but he had fun splashing around...and running from his teacher!

St George

My parents rented a condo in St George for Memorial Day and it was so much fun! It was so nice to just hangout with family, lay by the pool and play for a whole week!
