 My parents rented a house in St George and the WHOLE family was able to go and play together for a week!  It was so fun to all be together and just relax and have fun!  I love my family!

LANDON IS 30!!!

I can't believe that Landon is 30...we are getting SO old!  Landon always says that he doesn't want anything for his birthday and never wants a party or anything, but I was NOT going to let him turn 30 without a celebration! I knew that he would never agree to a party so I planned a surprise party and it was so much fun!  Happy Birthday Landon!  I love you...even if you are an old man!

Miracles Can Happen

KAI HAS BEEN HEALTHY FOR 6 WEEKS!


I can't even tell you how amazing that is!  He has been chronically sick for a year and a half and now he is healthy!  After many doctors, surgeries and every test possible I finally decided to take him to a homeopathic doctor.  I was pretty hesitant about the whole thing and didn't expect much but I was desperate!  After Kai's first visit I found out that poor little Kai has parasites and is allergic to wheat, soy, dairy, canola,  yeast and corn...so basically everything that he has been eating everyday!  I left the office feeling completely overwhelmed and still a little skeptical...how could this lady know what was wrong so fast when so many doctors for some reason never mentioned any of that?  But I realized that I have tried everything else and had been praying so hard that I would be able to help Kai and that we would be able to find someone to help him.  And this was our answer.  The very next day I started all of Kai's new medicines (seven) and completely changed his diet to take out everything that he is allergic to and within one week he was healthy!  He has been such a different kid...he is SO much happier and eats so much better now.  The new diet is super expensive and I have a hard time coming up with new things that he can eat but he never complains!  If he every whines for cookies or sees something that someone else has I just tell him, Sorry Kai that will hurt your tummy.  He says, Ya tummy and stops whining. He is such a good boy!  We are giving him to drops for his allergies and we are hopeful they will help him grow out of at least some of them...we will see!

Julien Turns 4

Julien is 4...CRAZY! Julien is such a good kid and loves learning new things. His favorite thing right now is space and learning about the planets and stars and spaceships. He loves school and is so smart! I know every parent thinks their kid is smart...but seriously he is, he says things sometimes and I feel like I am talking to an adult. He hears something once and remembers it forever. He is a good helper with his little brother...most of the time. He loves to color and do projects. He is a sensitive little boy and so sweet. He loves to listen to and tell stories and has quite the imagination. He is curious and wants to know about everything and how things work and where things come from and why things happen. He loves to play games, his favorite ones are Candy Land, Sequence, Bingo and Hungry Hungry Hippos. He is a really good kid and we are lucky to have him!

18 Months

Kai is 18 months!

Yay Kai is growing!!! He is still a skinny little guy but 41% for height...sweet! Kai continues to have trouble with his health but I must say things are looking up! Since Christmas there has been 2 different times where he has been healthy for 2 weeks at a time! That hasn't happened since he was 4 months old! He has been happier and sleeping better too! I don't want to jinx anything but I am just so excited...the past 3 days he has woken up at 8:30, 7:00, and then 8:00 again today! Seriously for the past year I have been grateful when he sleeps until 6:00! Let me just say I have been A LOT happier lately too!

Kai is such a little cutie! He loves to talk and can communicate anything he wants! His favorite things in the world are balls, and his favorite sport is basketball. He loves to be outside. He loves chips and cereal and candy...awesome I know. He loves dogs and horses. He is obsessed with his Bebe (binky) and blanket and has to have them before bed and in the car. He loves to climb and then tries to jump off things. He loves to dance and is learning to sing. It is so fun to watch him learn new things and get excited when he does something new. He loves his big brother and tires to copy everything he does. He is very stubborn and definitely knows what he wants. He loves to play peek a boo. He loves to help me with everything that I am doing and doesn't want to miss a thing! He is such a cutie and so much fun!
