We spent Easter at home this year with just our little family. It was so nice to have Conference the same weekend as Easter so we could just hangout together at home and be reminded of our Savior. Julien loved decorating his eggs and then finding them the next morning when he woke up, but he REALLY loved all the candy that both grandmas sent. I am pretty sure he had candy for breakfast and lunch...oh well. It was a good Easter and we had fun together.

Spring Break
This past week Landon had the entire week off from school...and since he doesn't have class on Mondays or Fridays he had an 11 day break from school! Julien and I LOVED having Landon home so much! We thought about planning a trip since he had so much time off but then we took a look at our budget and the price of plane tickets and decided that spring break in Hawaii was not so bad :) I did not do a very good job at taking pics but this past week we have done a lot. We have been to the beach a lot... Landon's friend just gave him a surfboard so Landon surfs and Julien and I go along and play on the beach. Some other things we have done are, shopping at the outlets, going to parks, feeding the ducks, visiting the Easter bunny, BBQ's with friends on the beach, gone to a Bacardi Party, rented movies and just relaxed...it has been so nice! Here are some pics from the week.
Julien got the bunny ears from the Easter bunny at the mall...he didn't actually sit on his lap but he did give him 5.

Life in Paradise
Last weekend we got together with some of our friends and headed down to Waikiki for a BBQ followed by fireworks on the beach. It was such a wonderful night, we are definitely blessed to be living here!

Oh Baby!
It's true we are gonna have another little baby and we are SO excited! I am now 16 weeks along and am feeling really good besides being extremely tired...lets just say I have fallen asleep on the floor while playing with Julien more than once. I felt really sick the first 12 weeks and couldn't eat very much but I am making up for that now. Landon and I felt the baby kick for the first time this past week and are so excited! We find out next Friday if it's a boy or girl although Julien is already convinced he is gonna have a brother :) Due date is August 27th

Happy 2nd Birthday Julien!!!
I can't believe Julien is 2!!! Crazy!
The whole day was filled with excitement! The day began at 6am when we were awaken by the VERY loud hurricane/tsunami warning sirens. After watching the news and learning about the 8.8 earthquake in Chile and the tsunami that was supposed to be headed our way we hurried and rushed to the store to buy water, gas and other emergency supplies. The stores were completely filled with people and shelves were already empty...people were freaking out! We would have been there for hours but just as we were getting in the very back of the line they announced they were opening a new check stand and starting a new line. I took off running and ended up being 3rd in line. I felt bad for the people who had already been standing in line for hours but didn't want to be spending all day at the store on Julien's birthday so I quickly got over it. We went home and waited for the supposedly HUGE tsunami to hit. They closed all the beaches and evacuated a lot of people. My parents who were visiting were completely bummed they couldn't go to the beach. After sitting around and waiting for a huge tsunami we were all a little disappointed when nothing really happened. We were glad that no one got hurt but they had built this thing up so big that it was kind of a let down when nothing happened. My parents had been hoping that the wave would take out the airport so they would be able to stay a little longer but no such luck. For Julien's birthday this year we decided to have an Elmo party because Elmo is one of his obsessions. We had some friends over for a bbq/pool party and had a lot of fun! I think Julien was very pleased with his birthday!
